Site guide - Photos, links, directions, flying clubs and whatever information I can find about a particular site.

Fog Forecasting - Recently added! Check it out on the beta site! Compare forecasted dewpoint and temperatures and set a status light to indicate possiblity of fog at that particular flying site. Thanks for the idea, Jose!

Table sortability - Make column headers clickable in tables to allow sorting by the data in that column.

Tactical overview on main page - Replace the main page with a list of sites instead of sites and launches. This new view will have one light per site, and if any of the launches show up as flyable, you'll get the indicator from the one with the most ideal forecast.

Rain/Snow/etc status - Currently, the status logic doesn't include any considerations for weather other than windspeed and directions.

Forums - Yes, like every other hanggliding site in the world, I'm going to have forums for discussing things ranging from weather conditions to wherever the wind takes us... pun intended. :)

Personalization - Favorite sites, optimistic index (see faq) , etc.

Email Alerts - Email alerts for ideal conditions at the site(s) of your choice!

Windtalkers - Soarcast will call windtalkers at various sites, record a sound file, and post them so you can get them from your pc rather than the phone. No more busy lines!

More views - As I come up with more ideas to make soarcast easier to view, you'll see them pop up. If you have ideas, please send them my way. I'm always open to suggestions.

  Best conditions      Marginal conditions      Non-flyable

The fine print: (c) 2006 soarcast.com. Soarcast makes no warranty to the accuracy of stated conditions.
Weather data gathered from the National Weather Service (noaa.gov). Accuracy of soarcast is at the mercy
of noaa.gov, so don't be mad at me if you show up somewhere to fly and it's no good! :)
Also, pliots need to use judgement when deciding whether or not to fly. Always stay within
your capabilities, and within USHGA guidelines for your rating and experience level.
